So who am I?
I am a wife and mother of two miracle twin boys that I love more than anything in the world.
While I consider being a mom the most important job in the world, I am also a fitness cover model, online coach, bikini PRO champion, swimwear designer, and founder of the world famous fitness team: Team Edge and EDGE Supps.
This podcast is about being real, just like life. While social media shows the highlight reel, Chit Chat will give you the full movie: the raw and authentic, the sad and funny, the challenges and upswings… everything that comes with being a “perfectly imperfect” human being in an ever-changing world.
Like so many of you, I faced some adversity and challenges growing up. Rather than defeat me, they have become a source of strength that has helped me become the person I am today.
I live a hectic life to say the least, and I would be lying if I said balancing my career and my family wasn’t a challenge, but one thing I have learned is that you should never sacrifice your confidence or health to achieve material goals. I look forward to sharing with you the ways in which I manage it all on a daily basis, and I hope it serves as a tool to build you up inside and out – emotionally, mentally and physically, so you can feel strong, confident and sexy!
Joining me today is my dear husband Joe and good friend Kenny. I think you guys are going to love hearing what they have to say and the interactions we will be having along the way.
My first one and my most emotional to date!
In this episode I discussed my childhood in Spain, leaving home as a teenager, and how I learned early in life that sometimes the bond of friendship can be as strong as family. I reflect on the profound affect of a neighbor's compassion, the redemptive power of true love, and the delicate balancing of work and my personal life.
We all have strengths that we can share. They may be natural abilities that we were born with, or hard-won strengths that have come only with hard work, failure and experience. Either way, your strengths are unique to you. Chances are, there are many people out there who could benefit from them. The important thing is to use your strengths to lift someone up, not make them feel badly because of their lack of those strengths. I hope my episode inspired you to become the best version of yourself!
