DIY muscle soak for the bath!

Okay ladies!

I’ve found a recipe for a DIY muscle soak for the bath that I’m dying to try and share with you! It’s super easy and you only need a few ingredients, most of which you’ll probably already have in your cupboards.

So, when you have at least a half hour to yourself, mix together in a big bowl: 2-3 tablespoons of coconut oil, 15 drops of lavender oil, 1 cup Epsom salts, ½ cup baking soda, ½ cup of milk, and if you have some in your garden, ¼ cup of lavender buds.

Once mixed, scoop it all into your full, hot bath...add bubbles if you’d like!

Then, light some candles, burn some incense, and step in!

The lavender will promote your relaxation while the Epsom salts relax your sore muscles while you soak for about 20 minutes.

The lactic acid in the milk will help soothe your skin and remove dead skin cells while the baking soda acts as a cleanser and has anti-fungal properties. Using these ingredients alongside coconut oil will leave your skin soft and ulta-hydrated. I’m thinking of trying this right after my next workout…but if you do this too, be sure to rinse off your workout sweat and dirt, first! :P Let me know how this muscle soak works for you!
